Lenovo S12 ION postponed until the release of Win7, and will not be the first netbook on an HD compatible chipset

I am with disappointing news for those who are in the subject and waiting.
In the comments they asked about the Lenovo IdeaPad S12 on NVIDIA ION, which promised to be the first netbook with an HD-compatible chip inside . I report:
- the netbook is postponed until the release of Windows 7, that is, until October 22, therefore
- he does not have time to become the first. Samsung will probably overtake it with its N510, which will start shipping in September.
Well what can I say about this? Samsung as always well done. It is famous for the ability to squeeze the most out of the seemingly not very favorable market situation. And he always manages to bypass the competitor on the turn, in any case, to use all his mistakes to reduce the distance. Samsung is a great fighter. Not the most powerful on the market, but very smart.

Lenovo - down. They lost. Let it burn in hell, along with Windows 7! No, it was impossible to bind them to a specific OS. This is mistake. You give users a device - they will figure out what to put there. Especially - users of netbooks. Although with Red Flag Linux - but take it out and put it on time. I'll figure out what's better for me. They do not whip the chip at all and do not understand the market. And it is punishable by life itself. In dynamic markets - punishable very quickly.

So - wait, sir.

Update: the details became known. Samsung N510 DirectX 9 version will be released in September, and DirectX 10 (Windows 7) version - in October. More precisely, after October 22. By the way, it will have a smaller screen than the S12 - just 11.6 inches.
