Most recently discovered a completely new antivirus product. This Ukrainian “Potion” against viruses has been started recently. At the moment, in the form of release, there is only a user version, which can be used free of charge both at home and among non-profit organizations. The corporate version is preparing for release.
The developer currently provides two products: Zillya! Antivirus and Zillya! Primary
The main features and features of Zillya! Antivirus are as follows:
- free of charge for all Ukrainians (as stated on the site), it is interesting to check whether it can be downloaded while being on the Internet with a non-Ukrainian IP address;
- resident monitor;
- antispyware, anti-adware;
- heuristic analysis;
- scanner of incoming traffic;
- verification of documents Microsoft Offic;
- task Manager;
- free Ukrainian-language support;
- various settings.
Speaking of tech support. It is carried out through the contact form on the site, e-mail, phone. Telephone support is also free and calls from landlines in Ukraine are free.
')
Free of charge this antivirus can use:
- home users;
- state educational institutions;
- charity organisations;
- religious communities;
- government departments;
- any non-profit organizations.
Zillya program! Partner based on Zillya! Antivirus allows you to evaluate the properties of the "potion" without first removing the already installed antivirus program. In fact, it is the same on-demand antivirus scanner as DrWeb CureIt.
On the official website it is indicated that at the moment the project is still not profitable, which is obvious, since the commercial paid version is not yet ready. The anti-virus laboratory is created on the basis of one of the universities (which one is not indicated), and the developers also create a training course on anti-virus security. Also, the developers claim that they set themselves the goal of first obtaining a high-quality domestic product, and when the project starts to bring profit, they plan to spend as much money as possible on improving the free product.
At the moment, Potion supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7.
So far, everything that I found out on the official website of the project. On the Internet at the moment there are references to the lack of stability and speed of the antivirus, but good indicators of catching viruses when scanning on demand. For the time being, we are confused by the strange policy “only for our own people”, but on the whole it is clear that the developers took the matter seriously and foresee a great future for their offspring. In the near future, I'm going to try this “potion” out of curiosity :)
