I live quietly in a residential area of Moscow; I don’t touch anyone and pay 650 rubles a month for 10 Mbit unlimited internet in both directions. There are 4 Internet users in my apartment, the traffic is 40-50 GB. per month, there are no problems, the speed of the provider does not cut.
And what in Moscow offer to treat corporate clients?
I work in a small Internet company, in which 4 more people work with me. And in total, we also consume 40-50 GB of traffic.
When we first started our activities, we rented an office on a base with tractors under the windows and the only available option was unlimited ADSL for 6 Mbit, which cost _4500_ rubles per month!
')
Do you think it was a real 6Mbps?
I saw this speed only on a day off in the morning. On weekdays, the average speed was 256Kbps, the provider couldn’t do anything and actually signed on to its helplessness, and we had no choice.
In total, it turned out that in our office the Internet is 39 (!) Times worse, and I pay for it almost 7 times more! What is being asked for ?! Traffic in the office and at home is the same.
I was outraged by the arrogance of Internet providers: why am I paying that kind of money? No, well, I understand, accounting services, preparation of documents, corporate department, etc., but I emphasize that we have 4 people working in our office, exactly the same as in my apartment, and I pay 7 times more.
We recently moved inside the garden ring ...Providers here - the cat wept and almost did not have to choose. As a result, now we pay 11 thousand rubles for 4 Mbit in both directions. Yes, the Internet is good, 4 Mbit is always stable.
But the question is: for what 11 thousand rubles for 50GB of traffic? It turns out that my speed is 2.5 lower, and I pay 17 times more!
I would be happy to make a connection to a private person, pay (even if twice as much) via Webmoney and do not bother the accounting department of the provider. So no, in the administrative buildings by default - only corporate rates.
PS Providers really zazhralis with their corporate rates. I understand if we had a company for 50 people. But the number of employees of the provider cares the least.
PPS I sit, scratching my turnips and looking for a man in the apartment building opposite to throw Wifi from him ...
PPPS Many providers offer to add IP telephony to the ADSL Internet, which directors who like to save money gladly agree. This should be treated very carefully: often such telephony reduces the real speed of the Internet by a factor of 3, while the provider is silent about it and continues to collect fees at the old rate.
