UA Webstar 2009 competition has started

Today, the UA Webstar 2009 competition has started on the Ukrainian Internet.

UA Webstar is an award for new media blogs and social networks. They have recently demonstrated a significant increase among users - both in Ukraine and in the world.

This year, UA Webstar has several nominations, among which is the nomination for the best blogs (thematic and personal), the best Twitter user, the best community, and the best design studio.

Obviously, the official website of the award also improved - compared to last year, a redesign was carried out, and many improvements were made. The site is only in Ukrainian, but visitors have the opportunity to use the gadget from Google Translate.

Also on the site there is a lot of material available for bloggers and the press - among them banners, wallpapers, promotional pictures, and much more.

In order to become a participant in the competition, the project must be Ukrainian. That is, to match any of these three options: Ukrainian language, Ukrainian domain, or Ukrainian author.

Applications for participation will be accepted throughout September, after which the voting will begin. It consists of two rounds and will last until the end of December. It was then that the winners "from the people" will be known, as well as the results of the vote of the specially invited jury.
