MSI is in a hurry with Intel Pine

Taiwanese MSI plans to outrun competitors and release a netbook on the new Intel Pine Trail platform in December 2009, even before its official announcement, which Intel carried over from October to February.

So if Ddigitimes doesn't lie, then MSI may well be the first company to start selling netbooks with a 1.66 GHz Atom N450 processor with an integrated memory controller, a GMA500 graphics adapter and the NM10 Express chipset (codename Tiger Point).

Again, if you believe the sources, the new netbooks from MSI will be equipped with touch-sensitive displays, and they will work under Windows 7. There is no other information yet.
