Less Total Napoleon: Total War in Development

Great news for fans of the popular game series Total War. Publisher Sega, the developers of The Creative Assembly (and to the heap the domestic publisher-localizer company Soft Club) announced the development of a new game Napoleon: Total War.

Most likely, Napoleon: Total War has every chance to repeat the success of a similar supplement to the Midieval 2 called Kingdoms. The thing is that instead of global coverage, Napoleon will be concentrated, as the name implies, on one small, but saturated, "Napoleon" period. A narrow focus gives hope for a qualitative historical study of specific conflicts and battles, which will make the campaign even more interesting.

The kit contains almost independent additions (in general, judging by the information, The Creative Assembly and Sega will position Napoleon: Total War as a separate game, and not an addon to the Empire) three story campaigns about the most important military campaigns of Napoleon Bonaparte, new units, more complex diplomacy and improved multiplayer. Of course, campaign cards will be replete with many details and will be much more developed than in the global Empire: Total War.

By the way, it’s not too long to wait. Exit Napoleon: Total War announced in February 2010. From the media, there is only a couple of screenshots (only those in the post) and video .
