take part in PHPCONF 2009 - the annual international conference of web developers,
which will be held on October 8-9, 2009 in Moscow.

The PHPCONF 2009 conference is dedicated to issues related to the effective development of web projects.

This year, preference will be given to reports devoted to:

* Organization of effective team development.
* Ensuring the maintenance of life and development of "old" projects, code refactoring. Rebirth of the project.
* Organization of effective industrial development.
* Putting the web development process on a stream.
* Modern techniques and trends in the world of web development.

Forms of participation

The master class is a modern form of conducting a training workshop for acquiring practical skills in various methods and technologies in order to improve the professional level and exchange the best practices of the participants. The master class is largely focused on dialogue with the audience, a group of up to 30 people, duration from 1.5 to 6 hours.

The report is an original work, directly related to the theme of the conference, presented in the form of a speech lasting 20-30 minutes, followed by a slide show.

A flip is a short (5-10 minutes) presentation on a topic related to the topic of the conference or close to it, using the board or flip chart and markers, or orally, without the use of special technical means.

Form and deadlines for submission and consideration of applications

August 25 - the deadline for submitting applications for participation in the form of a master class and a report;
August 30 - deadline for consideration of applications and the formation of the conference program;
September 20 is the deadline for the presentation of slide-ready presenters.

Those who wish to make a report at the conference should submit the abstracts of their report for the consideration of the program committee no later than August 25: 1-2 pages of printed text.

The program committee will consider the submitted abstracts, may request additional information from the authors, after which, by August 25, form a conference program on a competitive basis and publish a list of selected reports with a brief annotation.

Speakers are required to submit slides and / or speech at the rate of no more than 40 minutes for the entire report, including answers to listeners' questions, for review by the program committee by September 20. The program committee may require certain changes, both in form and in substance. The rapporteur has the right to make changes to his report after the deadline, but these changes must be agreed with the program committee.

If the finished slides and / or the text of the speech are not submitted by the deadline, the report may be withdrawn from participation and replaced by another report from among those who did not pass the initial selection.

Applications for participation in the form of a flip will be accepted without restrictions, including directly on the day of the conference. Flips will be selected directly by the conference participants, for which some form of voting will be organized.
