Create a wireless network using a Macbook for iPhone

Below is a step-by-step script for deploying a wireless network using a Macbook.
Initial data: there is a VPN connection through the patchcord, Macbook (10.5.8) and iPhone.
The goal: to distribute wi-fi to the iPhone and no one else.

All operations are done in System Preferences.
1. In the Security section of the Firewall tab, select 'Allow all incoming connections' (the item was selected as an experiment);

In the Sharing section, select Internet Sharing (1), choose where to distribute the Internet (VPN in my case) (2), then choose how to distribute (I selected AirPort) (3), be sure to enable encryption and set the password to the network, by clicking on the AirPort Options ... button (4), and at the very end tick the box next to Internet Sharing (5).

3. Everything, the network is ready. In the Internet distribution mode, the AirPort status bar icon will be gray with an up arrow.
