As Miguel De Icaza said in his blog , the Moonlight project has reached the next significant development point - Moonlight 2.0 Beta is available. This means that the project has been filled with functions and the process of polishing the code and catching errors by the Linux community has begun. As Miguel says in his post, it's time to start testing Silverlight versions of sites.
The numbers of Silverlight and Moonlight versions do not match in terms of functionality, so besides Silverlight 2.0, this release supports the following Silverlight 3.0 functions:
* Easing functions * SaveFileDialog * MultiScaleImage 3.0 API enhancements * MediaStreamSource now supports PCM audio data, RGBA and YV12 video data (for your pluggable media codec needs). * WriteableBitmap (for your Quaking needs) * Silverlight's 3.0 media pipeline . ')
