ESET on the Meeting of the System Administrators

It is difficult to find a country where the Day of the system administrator would be celebrated on a larger scale than in Russia. This year, the Meeting of Sysadmins near Kaluga gathered more than four thousand participants. ESET, which co-sponsored the event, also sent its representatives there with tents, prizes and plenty of fuel.



Getting to the place of the rally was not so easy. I had to feel the beauty of traffic jams on the Kiev highway and the impassability of Russian roads. Some of the fighters of ESET could not stand the four-hour journey to the venue of the Meeting

The organizers greeted us very warmly, but for some reason they decided to share us with Symantec. No one doubts that there are cool guys working there, with whom, probably, it would be fun, but to break ESET camp under the flag of Symantec was not in our plans. Therefore, it was a strong decision to win back part of the territory market from ambulance. There we camped.


On Saturday, our event was held under the name “The Power of Admin”, in which the most colorful representatives of the profession took part.
