MSDNAA and Macintosh
Recently learned about MSDNAA . I decided that since “any student, graduate student, teacher of the faculty who subscribes to, can get his copy of Windows 7 for free,” then you have to try. It turned out that our university (Helsinki Metropolia UAS) is participating in the program, so there is a possibility. In short, I logged in on the special site, added the product to the basket (for € 0.00), agreed to the agreement and clicked Download. I naively thought that it was already Windows, and Downloader.exe was downloaded - why did I need it on a Mac? I looked for Downloader.app - I did not find it. It is not clear why it is not possible to immediately download a dmg or iso image. How to be here?
I am not very upset - they offer for free and okay, I will manage somehow. The pirated version is now somehow silly to download, because you can do everything legally. But in general, this approach is somewhat incomprehensible - it is designed only for Windows users, and what to do for others? And why not tell about it right away?
