Robots will provide a single OS

At the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence held in July in Pasadena (USA, California), the intentions of the largest developers of robotics to standardize training programs for robots on the basis of a single platform became known. This will allow designers to stop "reinventing the wheel again and again."
At present, robots are designed individually, that is, hardware and software are designed from scratch every time. However scientists from Stanford , Massachusetts University of Technology and Technical University of Munich intend to reverse the trend by creating a robo-operating system, ROS . This OS will compete with the new Microsoft development - Robotics Studio. Despite the existence of this product, the speakers of the conference expressed confidence that their plans are waiting for a bright future, and some dared to suggest that Apple's robotics stores will start working soon.
