Long ago, when the planet was conquered by Windows 95/98 and the keyboard with the corresponding keys, I decided to use the Win key for the good of the case (and not to pick out a screwdriver so as not to interfere, as I did before). Then I found a solution in the form of a simple but convenient Winkey (unfortunately, the manufacturer is not going to support this program more ). And I lived well and happily until I came across PS Hot Launch VVL , which shamelessly forced WinKey out of my computer. Why is she so good?
Well, firstly, the program allows, like Winkey, to assign hot keys for various applications using the Win key, which is already a lot.
Secondly, the program can work as a normal launcher, which can be called from the tray by clicking on the icon and using the usual hierarchical list.
But what really bribed me is thirdly: the program allows you to assign hot keys for your groups, in the case of pressing the “magic buttons” right under the mouse cursor, a menu with options appears and you can, by making an economical mouse movement, launch all that we so diligently laid in this group. By the way, in the drop-down menu the same rules work as for the standard menu, i.e. there are underlined letters-accelerators, and getting to the desired program is easy, even without touching the mouse.
Not without program and flaws. For example, all the information about the settings it stores in the registry (although there are two batch files included in the kit for saving and restoring, as in FAR), there is no possibility to drag in a folder with the entire hierarchy, you have to add items one by one.
