I accidentally discovered a strange relationship when analyzing incoming traffic to my site. Its ads revolve on
AdSense for the keywords “free ads,” “ads,” “ads,” and other less significant words. So, the end of the advertising campaign was approaching and I decided to see how much the traffic would decrease if the advertisement was temporarily turned off.
And what do I see? Guess three times ... No one guessed? Traffic is over. Well, not quite over, a dozen clicks a day were, but only a dozen. The li.ru counter which is installed on each page has fixed it. Having opened the statistical data and analyzed them, I was confused.
If during the advertising campaign, half of the traffic was from
Google and half from
I ndeksa, which is quite natural, then after its suspension, Yandex also shut up at the same time as Google.
Turn on
AdWords and everything returns to its original state.

both Google and
Yandex ! (It was April 7.) And here comes the question.
How to explain such
unscientific correlation in the behavior of the two search engines?
