Programming in PHP interested "fools"

The book "PHP and MySQL for Fools" ("PHP and MySQL for Dummies") came out on top in the list of PHP-bestsellers of the computer publishing house O'Reilly for the first quarter. 2007 According to experts, the popularity of the series “for fools” (in the Russian version is politically correct, but incorrectly translated as “... for dummies”) is a clear sign that this or that technology went to the masses and interested the general public.



Now four of the five bestsellers in PHP are books for beginners. For comparison, exactly a year ago the picture was completely different, and PHP was mainly interested in professionals.
