An online survey almost exactly diagnosed depression.
Chinese and Taiwanese scientists managed to create an Internet questionnaire that almost exactly diagnoses a person’s depression.
As volunteers, 579 visitors to a popular medical portal were recruited. In 31% of them, a rather severe depression was found, in 7% a lower level was noted, in 15% very weak signs of depression were found, and in 46% it was not at all. A reception by a psychiatrist after an online survey showed that for 3/4 of the patients the diagnosis was made correctly.
At present, according to medical estimates, between 20% and 40% of the population of our planet are more or less depressed. ')
