Braid will be released on the PlayStation 3

Released a year ago on Xbox Live Arcade Braid quickly won the hearts of arcade lovers and in the same year was recognized as the most innovative platform game. The plot of the game was banal: a certain Tim is looking for the kidnapped princess, rushing like mad in a 2D universe, collecting keys and bonuses, talking to dinosaurs, killing enemies that look a lot like koloboks for MacGee authorship.



It would seem - what is there innovation? This is all we see in almost every second platformer. Actually, innovation was something else: Tim, and therefore the player, is endowed with the gift of time management. At the same time, he did it so cleverly that even a small child who sat down behind Braid could never die in the whole game. To turn the clock back, the player only needed to press a single button. "Rewind" could be done a few seconds back, and at the beginning of the level. Thanks to this rewind, the player could solve complex logical problems, moving forward in the passing game.



It all looked so cool that many Xbox Live Arcade users have already started to gloat, they say, only they have such a miracle on the platform. Exclusive. Yeah.



But gloated not for long. Platform developer, studio Number None Software, in early April of this year ported the game to PC. The second blow to the Xboxers' pride was struck literally in a month by the guys from Hothead Games, who ported the game to the Mac.

They also finished off the "boxers" with yesterday's announcement. It turned out that Hothead is planning to port the game to a competitor platform, that is, the Playstation 3. As a result - a huge disappointment to the owners of the Xbox 360. Well, what can you do, we must share!



The release date of Braid for the Japanese platform has not yet been announced, but the “hotheaders” promised to reveal the details during September-October. Most likely, sonboi will be able to play platformer only at the end of this year.
