Scrolling in comments

Since I myself am more a reader (articles on Habré and their discussions) than a writer (and a programmer) , I want to offer the creative part of Habr (to those who are a Chukchi writer, or rather, a programmer) a new idea (I hope that I didn’t come up with button accordion ") .

When habratopic collects a lot of comments, and even with attachments of comments inside each other, it’s hard not to get confused about which one to treat.

To help with this misfortune, there is already an arrow in the interface that allows you to jump to the comment level one level higher.
IMHO, this is a crutch.

It would be more interesting and hopefully more convenient to make scrolling of comments, dividing them into levels and giving each level its own scroll bar.

As a long page scrolls as a whole, so a bunch of comments of the same level would have to scroll if the mouse pointer were within the limits set for this level horizontally.

Interesting discussion thread inside one of the comments?
- move the mouse to the right, start scrolling komenty next level.
