About how Eset loses buyers

Have you ever wondered why the robot from the Nod-32 box has such a sad-pensive look? I can assume that with longing in his eyes he can only think about one thing - will they buy it (antivirus) or not?

A small store that sells computers, components and some software. However, all popular antiviruses are presented: Dr-Web, Kaspersky, Nod-32. They use demand, because people have long understood that it is easier (and cheaper) to give a thousand and a half a year for an antivirus than to periodically rush around friends and acquaintances, to ask them to reinstall the system “suddenly” eaten by viruses (because the “cracked "Antivirus - almost 100% guarantee of yourself planting this virus on your machine). But something I digress.

')

So: a shop, a sales assistant and a customer who is eager to buy an antivirus, and not some, but Nod-32, and necessarily version 4 (or at least with the ability to upgrade to the Quartet). Here the most interesting begins: there is NO version indication on the antivirus box! What is this - a marketing ploy? Misunderstanding? After persistent looking at the box, there was at least something indirectly indicating the version - at the bottom of the box it says in small print: “users of version 2.7 can upgrade to version 3 for free”. So for the product in the box - 2.7, which, after installation, can be upgraded to version 3, and then to 4, or is there still a “triple”, which you can not buy, having 2.7?

It all ended quite expectedly - the antivirus of the aunt did not buy it, 20 minutes was scribbling something into the complaint book, along the way, the fire of the seller, who most likely later would get his ears from the head / senior manager.

And the robot on the box just as thoughtfully continues to gather dust in the window, thinking - “will they buy it? will not buy? "
