Announced a sequel to The Darkness

Comic Con, held in San Diego, confirmed the rumors about the sequel The Darkness about a month and a half.
What the fans have been waiting for has finally happened. No data on the platforms yet, but it would be reasonable to assume that the sequel, like the original, will be released only on consoles.

As it turned out later, Starbreeze Studios studio, in the person of its CEO Johan Kristionssa, which created the first part, said that in no way relates to the project. As Kristionss said in an interview with VG247, the studio is now busy with two more ambitious projects with the Redwood giant EA.

Actually the developer of the project is Top Cow, the authors of the comic that underlies the plot of the game. The studio, in addition to comics, was not particularly noted for anything special. Not a single game in the track record at Top Cow ʻov no. We hope that the first pancake does not come out lumpy, and the sequel from the studio will turn out at least at the level of the original. Although, of course, much of this kind of debutants wait naively.

Let me remind you, The Darkness is a first-person shooter, released in late July 2007, based on the eponymous comic strip. The protagonist of the game, Jackie Estacado, is a professional killer who is obsessed with the forces of darkness.
