Two thirds of British users roam sites without a goal.

How often do you browse websites without a specific purpose? According to a study published on April 10 by British newspapers, more than two thirds of the 33.7 million Internet users in the United Kingdom have this habit.

According to The Guardian , more than 2,400 people were interviewed as part of a YouGov survey . The new habit has received the name “wilfing” - a derivative of the phrase “What was I looking for?” (“What was I looking for there?”).

Almost a quarter of respondents said they spend 30% of their time and more on aimless transitions from site to site. According to the authors of the study, this is about two full working days per month. Most of all "wilfer" was among men and those who are under 25 years old.
