Transfer hosters to php 5.3, statistics

Surely many web developers at php are tormented by the question: use the goodies php 5.3, or still early.
This is especially true for CMS / CMF developers. So, colleagues? :)
And so I decided to do a little research in order to clarify the situation with php 5.3 support from popular hosts and sent them to the boxes. support question about support for php 5.3 on their shared hosting, as well as their plans to upgrade to this version, if there is no support at the moment.
So, let's go straight to the results:


In total, about 40 hosters were polled, responses were received from 31 (the rest perhaps still simply did not have time to answer). There was no complicated methodology in choosing hosters. These are the first in Google, the first in Yandex, the first in various hosting directories, those that I personally used, Russian and Ukrainian. I did everything solely because of personal interest in this matter, the goal to promote some kind of hoster was not and is not.
I immediately asked all hosters not to offer VPS / VDS.

Further I bring directly lists of hosters that have / no / plan to support php5.3.
Installing php 5.3 in the near future is not planned for:

* masterhost.ru (upd: write in the comments that you can compile your version of php as cgi, although technical support was not mentioned during correspondence)

* sky-host.com: “no transition to 5.3 is planned, as there is no point in permanent software installations on the server”
* avahost.ru
* hoster.ru
* ht-systems.ru
* hosting.ru
* belihost.ru: “Not very soon due to backward incompatibility”
* zenon.net: “We are considering switching to php version 5.2.8 in the near future. We are not planning to switch to php 5.3 ”
* bizhost.ru: “Now we are testing, therefore, entering php5.3 is not planned for the coming month”
* valuehost.ru
* hostland.ru

* tanhost.com.ua: As soon as Cpanel supports php 5.3
* hostpro.ua: As soon as Cpanel will support php 5.3
* dinohost.ru: As soon as Cpanel will support php 5.3
* 1gb.ua: Maybe for a month, but this is not certain
* Peterhost.ru: Update may be in the fall

There is support for php 5.3 in one form or another:
* sweb.ru: you need to specify that you need php 5.3 when placing an order)
* diphost.ru: at the PARMA rate
* ukraine.com.ua: in the control panel, you can switch to version 4.4, 5.2, 5.3, and even 6.0
* Komtet.ru: they offer to build any version of php on their own tariffs, where there is SSH
* center.ru: starting with the tariff plan R3 in the CGI mode
* 100mb.ru: it is possible to build your php
* leaderhost.ru: only in CGI mode
* 604.ru

The idea to publish it came after I interviewed many hosters.

If you have information about php 5.3 support on virtual hosting from companies that are not on the list - write, I will post it at the end of my post.

[UPD] In the comments they say that php 5.3 support is also in such hosters:

* nic.ru: offer yourself to build any version of php on rates where there is SSH
* hosted.ua
