Recall that not so long ago, SpringSource acquired G2One, a company that developed Groovy & Grails. In addition to the new pleasant design, links to the site with commercial information appeared and the plug-in section was updated, which received more convenient navigation.
For those who first hear about Grails , a couple of words about its features:
The development uses the dynamic language Groovy, which is an extension of the Java language in the direction of Smalltalk, Ruby, and works on top of the JVM
The framework is not written from scratch, but rather a DSL over Spring & Hibernate
The first two points give simple integration with a variety of libraries and Java projects.
The project is supported by SpringSource, one of the technological leaders in the Java industry.
