I want integration of desktop rss client in Linux and Google Reader
But there is no client that can fully integrate with Google Reader. I mean not only the synchronization of subscriptions, but also commenting, sharing, like and so on. But you must agree: how convenient it would be to work with rss-tapes offline (for example, from a netbook on the road), and then, when connected to the network, synchronize data. Yes, I know about the technology of Google Gears, but it is not quite that. Gears is designed to work with an unstable connection, and I want a completely offline job with the ability to synchronize. As far as I know, they plan to synchronize the tapes in Akregator (rss-reader from KDE), but it’s not known when it will be. Has anyone come across something like this?
