The idea of ​​service for people who lack communication: "To each according to his work." At once I will make a reservation that this idea is not for Habr, but the idea “in general”.

Rating systems (pros and cons) are designed to provide "natural selection" of the best. In society, this system of selection is capitalism, and the opposite system is socialism. Each type of public relations has its advantages and disadvantages, which it makes no sense to discuss here, but the alternative always has the right and power to exist.

There are no reflections of the socialist model on the web yet, and I will try to model it:
- Paid membership , so that the account is more appreciated by the owner and the participant can be fined
- Polling activity , for the absence of which the participant is fined
- Universal security , in which each participant must receive a certain amount of benefits, which he earned, which is, however, within a clear framework, so that no one stands out too much. For example, assign a reference volume that this service will support. And the quality of services can be assessed by our native “pluses”, there is no prohibition.

And that is not so bad happened: I pay, but I get a guaranteed result. Tempting? - Fairy tale!
It remains only to find areas of human dissatisfaction and create a "socialist social network."
In the chosen field, you will need to select “actions” for the participants, for example:
- commenting on blog posts
- voting for someone in other projects
- participation in surveys
- various services offline, for example, to bring other participants to the car, and to inform the project about this via SMS with the code of the participant being brought
- various actions above myself: I shaved my head and you shave, I went to the sea and you drive
