In the US, online advertising spends $ 4.2 billion per quarter
The turnover of the Internet advertising business in the United States in the third quarter of 2006 set a new absolute record of $ 4.2 billion, RBC reports. This is 2% higher than in the second quarter of this year, when the volume of advertising business in the network was 4.1 billion dollars, and 33% higher than the figure for the third quarter of 2005 (3.1 billion dollars).
At the same time, revenue growth from online advertising is recorded in the last eight quarters. Such conclusions are contained in the report, which was prepared by the Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP for the US Interactive Advertising Bureau, an association of producers and distributors of network advertising content.
