Yahoo won’t buy Facebook

Yahoo would be wise to regret that it missed its chance to acquire the Facebook social network, according to experts from Needham & Company. According to analyst Needham Mark May (Mark May), Yahoo retreated too early and underestimated social networks as an object for investing money.

Initially, Yahoo valued Facebook at $ 750 million, and was then ready to allocate $ 1.62 billion for its purchase. The plans were to bring the number of registered users to 22 million in 2007, and the number of pages viewed by the average user should have reached 1061 per month.

However, prospects were evaluated incorrectly, and Yahoo refused the deal. Experts, however, are hoping that Facebook will still find a big-money sponsor.
