As written , Microsoft will offer European customers the right to choose a browser. This is stated in the message of the European Commission.
Microsoft will ship with Windows 7 a program (“consumer ballot screen”), with which it will be possible to easily install competing browsers, make one of the browsers main and disable Internet Explorer.
