ICQ via a web browser using Gmail and Gtalk

I have long been looking for a solution to the problem of how to use ICQ in a network with closed access to ports using popular messenger protocols. Searches led to some solutions, from specialized web services to forwarding traffic through an SSH tunnel using Putty. The solution was quite simple and convenient.
I have been using the Gmail mail service for a long time, and having learned that the same account can be used as a Jabber ID, I immediately set up my jabber client for this account. I couldn’t refuse ICQ completely, as there were more than a hundred contacts and only five people from the list were transplanted to the lamp protocol. Initially I used multiprotocol clients (Miranda, QuitIM, Pidgin), and then completely switched to Jabber, and for ICQ I used any ICQ transports. I also went through a lot of transports, while I stopped at pyicq.aftar.ru . Transport works well with Cyrillic, which is a big plus, since it was difficult for me to find a foreign language with normal support for the Russian language. Directly from the Gmail interface, I didn’t add a transport because I don’t know how to do it =). Authorized and added contacts through Miranda .
All contacts appeared in the Gmail chat interface as 123456789@pyicq.aftar.ru (123456789 is the ICQ user number). Nicky and the information will not be downloaded immediately, you need to wait. Interestingly, Jabber supports connecting to several clients simultaneously, so the problem "... under this number probably came from another place ..."

Google as always pleased)
