Skype will not ban

I was pleased with the flow of emotions caused by the previous topic . I want to give the opportunity to overestimate the information by adding a bit of inside information.
I understand that the people are scolding for cheap Skype and do not like “greedy opsoss.” But for some reason everyone decided that opsossy would “crush” IP-telephony, while in the same topic it was said that Ermakov sees another option - to enter similar services. Nobody believes in something, and for good reason: there is no need to spend money on fighting something, if you can make money on that.

Here you have the "reverse side of the moon":
Megaphone is very much invested in the development of 3G and 4G. Just two days ago, we launched 3G in Samara, but many people thought that this would not happen, that Megaphone “did not want” to connect to the Internet and compete with wireline operators.
WiMax has been working across the Volga region for a very long time, and WiFi access points, through which any subscriber can connect to the network, are scattered throughout the city (again, I’m talking about Samara, but in other big cities, things are moving in the same direction).

But connecting the last mile is all a drop in the ocean. Did you know that Megafon is also a backbone provider that provides high-speed channels across the country? A lot of attention is paid to the development of this project, and V.V. Yermakov is aware of this, do not hesitate. Any traffic, even voice, is not a hindrance, but an additional profit, which makes no sense to refuse.
')
This is not all that I could tell, but for some reason I will not. Both MegaFon and, I am sure, other operators have enough forethought and resources to adapt to the changes.

By the way, IP-telephony is not the biggest competitor of mobile communication. The advantage of mobile communication - guess what? In mobility, decoupling from the access point within the coverage area. Above this, too, should think ... and calm down.
