Microsoft will publish its code under the GPLv2 to the Linux kernel
For many, there will be a big surprise news that Microsoft intends to publish "thousands" of its code into the main Linux kernel (main Linux kernel tree). Naturally, under the GPLv2 license and “with the blessing of open-source leaders” (with the blessing of open-source leaders).
