TEDxRU - index of the future came to Russia
On July 24, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Nizhny Novgorod, within the framework of the iCamp Russia conference, the second TED conference in Russia will be held - TEDx Nizhny Novgorod.
All performances at TEDx Nizhny Novgorod will be devoted to the main trends and technologies that shape the future, and will become relevant in 3-5-7 years. MTS strategic marketing director Garrett Johnston will talk about the future of mobile devices. Eric Wright from the global co-working project Oasis will share his ideas on the organization of human activities - co-working centers. Nikolai Yaremko and Alexei Kulakov will talk about wiki movement, research of the future and typology of people through reflexive models.
The TED project was launched in 1984 in the United States, bringing together the best minds of our time, outstanding scientists, politicians, entrepreneurs, artists, and musicians on one platform. TED lecturers in the United States include former US President Bill Clinton, Nobel laureates James Watson and Murray Gell-Mann, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
Today, the project, whose main mission is to present ideas worthy of distribution, has come to Russia. Its origins are progressive and purposeful young enthusiasts. The first TEDx conference in Russia was held at the end of May with the support of the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. The unique ideas of our talented contemporaries struck the imagination of not only the participants, but also TED.com’s global Internet audience.
On July 24, on the first day of iCamp Russia, in the building of the Chamber of Commerce (Nizhny Novgorod), in addition to TEDx, Nizhny Novgorod will host several more events of different format, but equally interesting in content: presentations of startups on Investor Day, speeches by representatives of Opera, Godmol. ru, Mail.ru, Head Hunter, Ru CENTER, etc., awarding the Cup of the All-Russian Internet marathon ROCIT.
