Late yesterday evening, the seventh public beta of the new version of Total Commander was released. It would seem - that such, most important changes were known and worked already four months ago.
Nevertheless, an event happened, for us, fans of this file manager, it is very important: from this version the Russian language is included in the distribution kit.
Let me remind you that in the very first versions of the then Windows Commander, the Russian language was present, but was later removed. The reason for this was the exorbitant love of Russian-speaking users for freebies and cracks, because priority was given to localizations for more "honest" nations.
Now, given the significant contribution of the Russian-speaking community to the development of the program, as well as the fact that the pursuit of the minimum size of the distribution is stopped, we received such a pleasant surprise.
