Player, player or player can?
I added the last option, because I use it myself, but I still do not have confidence that it is correct. At the same time, from where I took this variant of writing, I cannot say - apparently I read / heard / heard leprosy T9 somewhere.
But the problem of writing English words is not limited to this word, and dozens of similar words too. And, oddly enough, usually these are often used words that we use nevertheless more often out loud than in writing. Our attention was hardly focused on this at school (at least I don’t recall the words of
slang-related subjects or any particular lesson in which we would be told the rules of writing this) or at the university (this is about those specialties).
Initially, I was interested in writing only the word
player . When I got to the
letter to get an answer to a question, I came across the word
flash (agree that in recent years this word has been actively used even by housewives), which raises much more questions than the same word
player . At the same time, as stated by various
authoritative dictionaries , it is almost impossible to choose the correct spelling. However, most of all I liked very convincing arguments in one of the questions:
')

Answer # 195627If we also take into account the English spelling and words that are similar in sound in the English language, then I agree with these beliefs more than ever.
The only question is, where exactly are the correct answers for writing and what to do if these answers are not correct?
The fact that dictionaries convey different information is not difficult to be sure.
UPD : I think that the topic would be worth transferring to "I am writing correctly"
