The developer, acting under the pseudonym NoSFeRaTU
(2: 5019 / 40.1), announced the release of the next version of its assembly
editor GoldED +, which was previously called "NoSFeRaTU's GoldED +", and henceforth will be called
GoldED-NSF for short.
Among the
novelties of this assembly, I wish to draw your attention to those two that seem to me the most important.
First, the transition through hyperlinks
of the “area: // ...” type to the messages of such Fidonet echo conferences that the user has not subscribed to is implemented: such messages are now retrieved via the Internet via an
FGHI-compatible gate.

Secondly, the possibility of connecting arbitrary handlers
for any URL schemes or other text elements defined by regular expressions (POSIX and PCRE) - for example, telephone numbers - is implemented.
All this is a significant step forward in the progressive evolutionary development of the hypertext Fidonet.
