Let QR codes in autodesign

At one time, the idea arose to embellish a car with a QR code in order to slightly brighten up the hours of life of the same car enthusiasts lost in traffic jams, like me.
As a result, I made a layout and was about to print, but then another idea arose. Why not combine two types of codes, so that my artworks can be understood not only by owners of QR codes, but also, for example, MS Tag.

As a result, I spent some time studying the readability of codes of different types, which I will write later about.

After these studies, this strange design of the spare wheel of my four-wheeled friend was born:

Details and info on what to print such codes under the cut.

As you can see, QR is printed as the main code, black and white MS Tag is embedded inside.
The result of the work looks like this: image
MS Tag for normal reading requires saving the size of a black square, or rather its lower boundary, which determines the size and position of clusters with data, as well as white markers on the sides of the code, for synchronizing lines.

Therefore, it was necessary to enclose its black frame with a small white square. Inside the MS-tag left the patterns of the QR-code, because MS Tag is looking for its points based on the size of the frame and string synchronization, and something else inside its frame does not interfere.

The result of the work looks like this:

Now a little about technology, if someone wants to do better:
Printing on plain lamination vinyl so that inkjet printing does not float.
my size was 54x54 cm in a circle. It cost about 850 rubles.
It is necessary to adjust so that the code is at the maximum on a horizontal surface. At my edges, with glue, I had to make cuts on the circle in order to remove large seams. It is better to glue from the center to the edges so that the code itself will turn out without bubbles.

PS> It’s certainly hard to call normal car design, but I think the main thing to start is :)
