The idea to create something similar has long been in the air. For example, sometimes you want to make a note on some site, mark it for yourself. However, in few places like this is possible You can, of course, add to bookmarks, but then after all on this page you need to find the desired text / image.
Sometimes you want to comment on something (a film, a story, any dock), share an opinion with other visitors of the resource or write something to the author / moderator, and there is no forum, no form for sending comments, or any feedback on the site. .

Sometimes there is also the need for “not yet forgotten” to make a mark on the developed site about the found bug (“and here in the donkey the markup goes”) or about a new invented feature. But not to fasten this functionality to each site just for the sake of personal notes! I occasionally use stickers embedded in xfce, however, this is not exactly what I need. In addition, he does not allow these notes to be shared.
And it would be nice to be able to leave notes in the place with which this note is connected. For example:

So, I present you Stickerity - a service that allows you to comment on any content on any site.

Stickerity is a web service plus a small plugin (for now only for Firefox, but very soon there will be plugins for IE and Opera).

He knows how to glue stickers, comment on them, view the list of all stickers, stickers created by a particular person, stickers left on a specific site. You can subscribe to user stickers and stickers,
hosted on specific sites. You can rob the cows :-) Also other functions will appear soon. However, as they appear - so I will tell :-)

I wrote one, the implementation of the idea took me about a month in the evenings after work.
The name for the project suggested sevenov , for which a special thanks to him.

All the basic functionality is implemented, the project will grow permanently with goodies and chips. The next month is planned a few necessary and interesting things. A lot of plans, enough work :-)

The project was launched the day before yesterday, so maybe there are some minor flaws. However, there is no closed testing and there will be no - registration is free, no one needs to write and ask for an invite.
