USB flash drive for spies: AES-256 with self-destruction

The manufacturer of the world's most secured flash drives, IronKey, introduced the S200 , an expensive model priced at about $ 300 for corporate and government customers.

I must say, the flash drive is unique, not only the price. First, it contains a cryptochip with hardware support for AES-256. Secondly, this is the first flash drive in the world, corresponding to the third-level state security standard FIPS 140-2. The third level implies the impossibility even of physical access to the device crypto module. The fact is that the S200 cryptomodule simply self-destructs in the event of unauthorized access, be it physical access or modification at the program level.

Probably, the destruction occurs by some kind of chemical, although a more elegant way can be applied. No details on this have been reported yet.
