OpenSource Electronic diaries system
On Habré there were already topics about electronic diaries in Russia and in other countries. It was my turn to promote.
It all started with the fact that where I study I needed an electronic diary. This is not just a whim of the administration, but a necessity. It's just that there is a hostel in our lyceum and parents do not see their children for several weeks. (Their diaries even more)
We need a simple and convenient way to exchange information about the student's progress with his parents without any problems such as on-line communication with the teacher and other delusions (for the first time). I used Python and Django as tools. A month later, the main functionality was implemented. So I thought: “What good is lost?” And laid out the system on Google Code under GNU GPL v3. I still have many problems such as the lack of a normal interface and other smaller ones. From habrovchan I ask for flogging (the first project on the python) and assistance in the development of the project. After all, if schools can easily put an electronic diary without the intervention of outside organizations, it will be cool!
