Is Apple's policy towards Ukraine or Ukraine’s policy towards Apple?
I have long been surprised by Apple’s policy toward Ukraine ...
Well, okay, the iPhone is not sold in Ukraine ... yes, you need to be able to negotiate with the operators, and the income of the population is not the highest. But the thing is different - the iPod Touch is sold, quite officially, the firmware was also translated into Ukrainian, the Ukrainian keyboard was installed. Nice of course!
But how so? Ukraine is not in the list of countries supported by the AppStore! That is, programs for iPod Touch have to be either completely left-handed buy or use hacked! Do not use the same ones for free. Is it really impossible to add support for Ukrainian credit cards? For this, it is not necessary to let the iPhone into Ukraine! Give the chance to fully use the functions of the devices officially sold by you !!! Yes, at least give the opportunity to update the firmware without resorting to illegal methods of obtaining it !!! ( UPD: The recently released 3.0 firmware for the iPod Touch costs $ 9.99 and is sold through the AppStore). You yourself provoke violation of the law :-( ')
What you need? Time? When did the AppStore open there? How many revolutions have people made during this time? Well, how long can we expect a completely logical and very necessary function for the residents of Ukraine?
And even not rich Moldova has the opportunity to use the AppStore!
But although it is this information that helps me not to be disappointed in Apple. After all, why is Moldova more fortunate than Ukraine? And because there is an operator Orange! A mobile operator with a name that can negotiate with companies such as the Great Apple ... It’s not Apple’s policy towards Ukraine that can be to blame, but the policy of our valiant Ukrainian operators who are not able to agree with the Apple company (or they’re not particularly interested) ? Maybe because Apple does not want to deal with us? .. In this case, everything is pretty sad - I can not believe that in a more or less near future there will be changes for the better.
