Google recovers passwords by SMS

Google yesterday announced the introduction of a new option to recover passwords from their services. Now everyone can bind to the account number of your mobile phone. When requesting password recovery, an SMS with a 7-digit secret code is received on the phone, which must be entered on the account verification page. Accordingly, if everything is entered correctly, the user enters the form for creating a new password to his account.

The service, as can be seen from the screenshot, also works with Russian cellular operators (hooray), you need to enter the number in the format of 10 digits (without +7). Confirm the number itself is not required .
