RAO against the use of music in football matches

Following articles 1 , 2 on the Russian Authors' Society and the recent trials of this organization.



So, RAO is now against the use of musical compositions played on football stadiums during football matches. Pruflink



I think it is possible to comment here, but it is much better to help a domestic organization to cut even more dough from the following sources:

1. Not only football, but hockey and other other matches.

2. Music played in cafes and bars (from beer and sushi bars to the most elite restaurants)

3. Melodies downloaded to a mobile phone and listened not only by the owner, but also by others (when making a call).

RAO, apparently, really saw enough of the aggressive behavior of the RIAA and the dividends received from it (in the form of fines). Very sorry.



UPD. It says that RAO still allowed the Premier League to use the Blantr's march (thanks to the courtesy of the heiress of the great composer who wrote the Blantter March) without any deductions. Thus, RAO will not make RFPL claims for payment of royalties.
