Announcement of an interview with the Russian teams of Imagine Cup 2009
Today at the finals of the Microsoft Imagine Cup, the last day of competition in the main categories: Software Design and Embedded Developement. Each team from Russia was attended by one team: Vital Lab from Nizhny Novgorod and SoundStreamers from Moscow, respectively. The latter, unfortunately, fizzled out at first and did not make it to the top 12 (a kind of quarter-final final :)). But Nizhny Novgorod with their project ViVa were not only in the best dozen following the results of the first voting of the judges, but also in the top 6 teams , which means that only one last presentation of their project, which will take place at 17, now separates them from victory : 00 MSK has already ended. The results of the final, by the way, will be known on Tuesday evening.
My colleague Dmitry Shwars and Soshnikov and I will try tomorrow or the day after tomorrow to gather both teams in one of the quiet corners of the hotel and conduct a joint interview with them, which, if the technician does not let us down, will be broadcast live. I am sure that we have enough questions for ourselves, but we will be glad to see yours too: ask them here in the comments.
A link to the live broadcast will appear later. ')
UPD: by the way, do not forget to congratulate the Ukrainian team of Intellectronics , which entered the top 6 in the category of Embedded Developement. If possible, invite them to our interview.
PS: The students who came here to win did a great job: they developed interesting projects, came up with excellent presentations, performed well and confidently go to victory, despite some troubles.Support them, if not with a comment, then at least attention to this event, which, by the way, can be a turning point in their lives. They are one step away from victory and they really, really need our support. And leave the minuses for later, they will still be useful to you.
