After reading an interesting article about
meta-Internet , I saw that some of the Wishlist have already been implemented in an online game like The Nethernet. This is a game that does not require to go to raids in dungeons, engage in farming, crafting and other delights of modern MMOs. It used to be called PMOG, which translates as Passive Multiplayer Online Game. If she is Passive, then how to play it, and where is the meta-Internet? First things first.
About the game:
1) The game is designed as a Firefox toolbar and you can find it
here.2) "Experience" is recruited for ... normal surfing the network. You go to the page where you have not been today and get +2 Datapoint (this is an analogue of the local currency).
Now about the meta-Internet:
3) You enter the site and the plugin sends to the server a request for the presence of game objects “assigned” to this address. If there are no objects, then nothing interferes with viewing, but if there are any, the plugin attracts your attention to itself with a pop-up window of the form:

Here are the objects that are present at the moment:
Crate - used as a container for transferring game objects between players. "Stored" on the page and waits until it is opened. May contain a Question without which an answer will not open, Or be a trap at the opening of which there is a chance to lose Datapoints
Armor - provides protection against the loss of Dp when attacked by other players.
Mines - they are mines and mines in Africa. We went to the site where the player planted it: “they exploded” - they shot Datapoints, “they dodged” - they didn't take them off. In any case, they will write you who did it and you can send it to him:
St Nicks - looks like a beetle :) Blocks one attempt to lay a mine.
Grenades - trite rushes at the player with causing him damage.
Watchdogs - a dog not giving to put a mine on the page.
Portals - connects 2 pages with links to each other and allows you to switch from one to another. May be flagged by players as Unsafe.
Lightposts - used to create "missions". What are missions? This is a chain created by a player from sites, usually on one subject (although you can do any kind of mission). For example on
thepiratebay.org you can find a mission about world torrent sites.
For some actions in the game give Badges - medals. Analogue of achivment in modern games.
In fact, this game is implemented as a layer of the meta-Internet: the pages are assigned objects that only people with the installed and enabled plug-in can see. If you develop this concept, you can come up with the creation of this very metainternet.
PS: The game is currently in English.
