Thus, according to a study by In-Stat, there are 210 companies worldwide that have already launched a 3G network or are going to do it in the near future. Moreover, 68 of them are located in Western Europe, 38 - in Eastern Europe, 19 - in South America and 19 - in North America. The Middle East region has 13 third-generation operators, and the Asia-Pacific region has 54.
