RIAA wins new suit

This time the victim fell on a Usenet computer network.

In 2007, the RIAA accused of violating copyright on audio and video. Usenet provides subscribers of binary groups with practically the same capabilities as peer-to-peer networks. The lawsuit alleges that a number of Usenet groups were used “for clear copyright infringement”.
This week, a court found Usenet Inc guilty of copyright infringement.
