Habr and Microsoft Imagine Cup 2009 final

Probably, many have already heard that from July 3-8, Cairo will host the finals of the world student technology cup Microsoft Imagine Cup , which will be attended by 149 teams. Among them in the final will be our guys: the Vital Lab team from Nizhny Novgorod and the Moscow SoundStreamers team.

The program of the final includes several disciplines : software projects, embedded solutions, games, robotics and algorithms, IT-competition, mashaps, photo-stories, short films, design. Within each of these categories, participants will compete for three prizes. By the way, the prize fund this year is $ 288 thousand, and for first place in some disciplines $ 25 thousand are waiting for the winners - a good extra charge for the scholarship.

By the way, besides the Russian one team from Belarus takes part in the final - BigBang , one from Kazakhstan - Ferrum Logic , and as many as three Ukrainian teams - Baby Guards , Intellectronics and Just 4 fuN . So all of us will be for whom to support the next few days.
