The technical characteristics of the not yet announced flagship completely repeat those of the Phenom II X4 955. An exception is the operating frequency, which, thanks to the multiplier X17, has been increased to 3.4 GHz. It is likely that this model will appear along with the new IGP chipset for platforms of the average price and budget categories - AMD 785G. ')
It is clear that now you can quite easily get the pseudo Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition by increasing the multiplier of the Phenom II X4 955 processor from X16 to X17. What will be the price of new items at the time of its announcement is still unknown. AMD can move the previous model one step down, or leave it in its place and raise the price of the Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition.
