Recently, a small community has emerged around the MDC , which helps us on bugs.mdc.ru , writes to info@mdc.ru . Strangely enough, but the majority of the community have no principal objections to the further development of MDC, which have a big role for us as program developers. That is why, the current release is proudly named " 1.0.3.3. Them. Consensus ."

Since the last release of Desktop version MDC 1.0.3.2. "Spring aggravation" was closed 97 tickets. Below is a brief overview of changes and bug fixes:

• antispam: you yourself can ask a question and answer;
• optimized work of downloading correspondence history;
• optimization of the message window (ctrl + c now works in the chat of the message window);
• Added a new “MDC” style to the message box topic. This style displays the protocol icon through which the message was sent.

• more beautiful windows notification (pop-up windows when new messages appear). Now you can customize the pop-up windows: size, avatar, background, transparency, etc;
  
  
• file transfer for Mail.ru and ICQ protocols (by dragging to the message window, dragging to the contact in the contact list window). ;
• receiving files with a choice of folder to save;
  Due to the unstable operation of the icq servers, the transfer of files between computers on different subnets was not fully tested. Currently, file transfer is not stable even in the native client.
  
• MDC localization. Special thanks to the MDC user (Oleg Zoshchak) (aka vlas_st at open-life.org ) ... for Ukrainian localization . Language selection is available in the General Settings of the MDC.
  
  If you have a desire to help develop MDC, if you are fluent in languages ​​other than Russian and Ukrainian, we will be very happy to add your translation to the next MDC release (details by info@mdc.ru );
  
• installation of avatar for mdc contact (when viewing the contact information window, you can click on the avatar);
• the ability to copy any fields from the contact information window;
• fixed bug with unreadable menu in Ubuntu 9.04;
• Added notifications about new mail.ru mail accounts;
• new templates for smiles;
• optimized work with smiles. Clicking on the smilie in the message window hides smiles and shows their textual representation;
• use {{{}}} (analogue of BB code [code]: intended for writing examples of different codes in a message);
• another optimization of consumed memory and CPU.
