Bloggers rating: how and why

Let me quote a piece of Anton Volnukhin’s speech published on the Yandex corporate blog.

Here are the most important: the blog's lifetime, the average activity of its author, the current activity of the author, the number of blog readers (readers through friend-feed and RSS-aggregators: Yandex.Lentu; syndicated in Livejournal; for stand-alone blogs, FeedBurner data is also taken into account .com, if the blog is broadcast through it and reader statistics is not closed). But, again, these factors are not fundamental, they only complement the basic formula, making it more stable.
